Nigeria’s news-space has been jammed since Thursday as Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was suspended by the president of Nigerian, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.
All kinds of reactions have followed the suspension.
Some people believe Sanusi is been crucified for blowing the whistle regarding the corruption in the NNPC and posting that certain billions of dollars are missing
Others believe that SLS’s suspension is long overdue and that the man has misstep his boundaries and started partisan politics, thus derailing from his main assignment as a CBN governor.
They say that …
Sanusi knew what was coming and decided to have a fair landing by playing the victim.
As the days continue to roll, there will be more reactions.
Personally I have a lot of respect for Sanusi especially for the e-banking institution. That is why it beats my imagination that he ended this way.
He who aims to remove the glut in others eyes’ should first and foremost remove the one in his own eyes

It is noble that Mr. Sanusi is trying to tell us that money is missing somewhere.
And I think the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria that has presented the report (download here) implicating Sanusi in gross financial misappropriations should also investigate the missing $20 billion dollars.
I personally think that Mallam Sanusi should not have waited for five years as a CBN Governor, before seeing money missing in NNPC.
If indeed he was sincere, he would have started the noise about missing money some years ago, because all we Nigerians know that money is missing in NNPC every day.
In fact, there are concerns that he started the farce about missing money because he was been probed and queried.
I also blame the CBN ex-governor for partisan politicking. As an office man we expect you to do your job with the utmost professionalism and get the country results.
Sanusi was rather unprofessional and bias in carrying out his duties. Now that the hammer has hit, my simple and short advise is this:
MALLAM SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI, take a bow. It’s all over and you know it.
In fact you disappointed us upcoming professionals who know you from First Bank. You have now gone down in as the most controversial CBN Governor in history
You can garner all the sentiments you can from people. You can go to court for all you care. But believe me, its over. Nothing will come out of it.
Don’t allow politicians to deceive you. They will keep politicizing this whole stuff. But bro….LIE LOW.
To the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria
I haven’t heard this name before, except during this SanusiGate.
But it looks like you guys are great at unmasking financial misappropriations.
So on behalf of Nigerians I ask you to kindly extend the same rigorous probe to other corrupt officials in this administration. Help us probe the missing money as well. Don’t go under after this one.
Thank you for accepting the offer
But who really loses at these fights ?
Your turn to say something
