Sometime ago, the media was awash with the news of Cynthia who was killed in a hotel by a so called boyfriend she met on Facebook after raping her and dispossessing her of her money.
That story was just one among many of the downsides of social media flirting, especially for women and ladies.
There was also another time I found and published a story about a woman whose so-called twitter boyfriend published her nude pictures which she innocently sent to him.
Despite all these and many more incidents that happen on a daily basis, there seems to be an increase in social media flirting among men and women.
While a man may easily get over with the downsides of flirting on social media, the woman suffers more.
Consider the following chat history:
I have censored the above chat and edited the real names.
There were actually more erotic parts that I purposefully ignored.
From the chat you can see that the woman is married and living with the husband. The guy in question seems to have had a quick one with the woman in the time past.
Unfortunately, with Facebook, they have reconnected and the man wants to play a smart one on the lady. The downside is that the lady is giving the guy the ground to keep attacking.
The truth is that the woman may not actually do anything with the man, but imagine what will happen if the husband finds out about this kind of chat history.
From the way I already feel, I know it will take a great deal of maturity for the man not to raise his voice if he sees this kind of chat history with his wife.
Also imagine if this woman eventually becomes some kind of public figure like a pastor’s wife, politician or whatever and some fellow accidentally hacks the account. Imagine what will happen. Imagine the potential scandal this will generate.
